We, in the Environmental Club in ES, MS and HS, would like to start a paper recycling program, which started last year in the MS. The idea is to place recycling boxes in all classrooms, next to trash bins, so students, faculty and staff have the option of recycling used paper. Every Wednesday student volunteers  collect the paper in large bags which  then are deposited at CAC back gate. The  day after the  bags, along with paper, are transported to A.P.E. Mokattam recycling center where it will be made into new paper products such as stationery and gift bags.
We hope you will join us in our efforts to recycle the tremendous amount of paper waste that is generated here at CAC.
