We, in the Environmental Club, would like to announce the starting of a paper recycling program here in the CAC, which started last year in the MS.

The idea is to place recycling boxes in all classrooms, next to trash bins, so students, faculty and staff have the option of recycling used paper. Every Wednesday student volunteers will collect the paper in large bags which will then be deposited at the back gate. The next day the paper will be transported to A.P.E. Mokatham recycling center where it will be made into new paper products such as stationery and gift bags.

I hope you will join us in our efforts to recycle the tremendous amount of paper waste that is generated here at CAC. If you do not want to participate in this program, please let us know and a box will not be placed in your classroom or office.
